We had just finished basting this baby quilt, and was gonna start quilting... a customer came in and saw the piece, and straightaway wanted it for his son... he didn't want the quilt sandwich though, and wanted a flannel backing for the blanket, so we switched out the original batting and backing and replaced it with this flannel piece that he chose...
The flannel piece has little animals all over... so cute!!! We quilted straight lines around the panel, plus did some hand-quilting around the circles in the center panel.Hope the little guy loves it as much as I did making it :)
