Student's project - scrappy single-sized quilt

Our most dedicated student, H, worked on this project for a year, in between other project classes... The cotton fabrics used were beautiful and high-quality, and she truly put in the effort to complete this.

This is one of the few items she made that will be hers for good! :)

Grow with Me - trucks and cogs

This is such a sweet boy print! It's from the Grow with Me line for Moda, and would make lovely outfits, cute bags or little quilts for boys!

It goes great with this turquoise and white polkadot fabric :)

Both are RM 45 per meter.

Reunion by Sweetwater for Moda

This cute print in the Reunion line (I think it's called Jacks?) is not regular quilting cotton... It's more like home dec cotton, perfect for bags, cushion covers or what-have-you... It's a tad pricier at RM 64 per meter, but bags with this fabric requires no interfacing :)

The color is very heavy-duty-use friendly... Try it out!

Sprout and Spell panel

This would make a fun learning aid, wouldn't it? It could keep your little one occupied for a while at least :)

This Amy Schimler panel is so cute! I can't decide whether to make a baby quilt out of it, or to make a wall hanging for the kiddies' room... I'm sure you know of one little person who would love a quilt from this brightly-colored piece :)

Back-to-school order...

I know it's already mid-February, but it's never too late to show what we've made for the new year, right? :)

A colleague wanted a document bag for her daughter - big enough to fit her school books, but also suitable for her to stuff her t-shirt & track pants for PJ... Color scheme? The bag had to be something hard wearing, so light & bright colors were no-no options... Luckily I still had some of this Ikea fabric on hand (it's not easily found anymore, so I hoard what I have hehehe), and matched the bag with cotton webbing handles for more durability.... A loop button closure finishes it off...

I like it.... Don't you? :)

Hello Kitty! is in the house :)

Imagine giving this to a Hello Kitty lover... Her smile would probably light up the room! :)

Owl lovers - Owl Tree Panel quilt

Panels are cute before they get turned into quilts, and some just look even more adorable once they're turned into soft, puffy, warm goodness :)

Sometimes we get requests to make quilts covers using the baby quilt panels. We are more than happy to oblige, of course :)

The same alphabet animal patchwork, turned into a quilt cover... With cute pink buttons at the back for closure, and backed with the same fabric as the border (those pink teddies are adorable!!). Too bad I forgot to take pics of the back!

We're happy to note that the customer returned home happy too :)

Sometimes the smallest things can be the trickiest items to make, even though they make look simple... But they're still loads of fun to make!

Plus, they make a good excuse for me to continue practicing sewing zippers... :)

Custom Teddies

Apparently custom-made teddy bears are much-sought-after & hopefully equally much-loved... These two have gone home to their new owners :) (who happily posed them for these photos in the shop)

More Urban Zoologie for Ann Kelle fans! I know these aren't the official color way names, but they're definitely easy to recall :)

We've turned these into baju kurung, dresses & even teddy bears... They are just adorable!
